Is He Really Aggressive

.. Today I am going to pick up a basset on the south shore.. his owners say he is aggressive therefore spends most of his time crated as not to scrap with his fellow basset.. I think it might be a ALPHA problem but I'll have to wait and see.. also being crated means little exercise to burn off his energy and allot of time to become hostile .. hard to imagine though an aggressive basset.. I can only pick him up after 12:30.. He's a big boy apparently so all the family is afraid of him.. It should be interesting with him.. Alas I will have to write more once I can evaluate him..
