Long Day

.. Well sunday was a long day.. the dogs were on the relay finally on their way here.. I knew they were leaving at 7:30 am.. and should be in by 4:00.. Well you know what they say about the best laid plans.. As it turned out they didn't arrive until 7:00 pm.. I had missed my foster connection that I was supposed to meet over an hour earlier.. So in the freezing rain I had to head up to Ottawa.. deliver the dog.. drive back .. go over to Lapraire to deliver Lena.. by this time it was after 11:00 pm. I got home around midnight.. It was tiring but fruitful.. the rescues were safe and sound with their foster Mom's.. I could put my head down on the pillow knowing all was right..
