Lucky
.. Today Lucky might have his " Forever Home " .. I hope so .. His life was nothing short of abuse.. He spent months locked in a garage.. in a crate muzzled .. only let out on newspaper in the garage to eat.. drink and do his business.. then back muzzled in the crate for hours on end.. The muzzle so small it grew into his face.. the owners showed no mercy to this boy.. he will bear the scars forever.. as well the abuse.. Why you might wonder.. well they lived on / beside the golf course so no yellow stains on the grass.. and he could not understand being away from family that " loved/wanted him " so he began to whine solution.. muzzle said the pet shop owner.. " Hey its a sale eh one muzzle not even sized " .. All Lucky wanted was to be with his family .. how silly was that..
.. Once here he has enjoyed the freedom NO MORE CRATING.. NO MORE MUZZLE.. he has found his voice and character.. he bears no malice where one would think he might after this long ordeal.. but doesn't.. He loves to play with the others.. and is gentle with the younger ones.. even protective at times if he sees things getting to rough and tumble.. Here he sometimes forgets his size and used Mozart as a bridge to follow another buddy in the yard..
Then he is very Welcoming when a new basset arrives..
.. I truly hope this Lady that is coming to meet him in the dog park just loves him as I do.. for he deserves nothing less in his life from now on..
Fingers & Toes Crossed
Lucky does have his " Forever Home " with lots of company.. and a great new Mom.. Bravo My Boy..
